Hi Steph, Getting there! I'm wondering about your recording of the bells: do you have a really clean, clear, robust ringing of these bells? that's what we want to hear. (I don't think the car passing is helping necessarily, especially for a first sound.) And I think you want to really get right into the sound, right after the open music (there's still quite a pause..) Don't worry about filling the time necessarily-- this could be a short one and that's fine too. For instance, I'm not sure you need the long pause between the sentences, it might be better to have: ringing text and then close with a nice clear ringing that we can enjoy listening to....
& you might want to try playing with some variations on the text Last church bells of the night...St. Ladislaus Church Hamtramck. or, Standing outside of St Ladislaus church in Hamtramck, I hear the last bells of the night.
